Set in 1929-1930 in Berlin, on the eve of the Nazi rise to power, it focuses on nightlife at the Kit Kat Club and revolves around 19 year old Sally Bowles and her relationship with a young American writer, Cliff Bradshaw. It includes songs such as The Money Song, Don't Tell Mama and Cabaret.
